Hey guys, I’ve added a new layout for Penelope Fan as a way to celebrate on owning the fansite. This site has had many owners and I’ve always wanted to maintain a Penelope Cruz fan site. You may know me from other large fan sites such as Umathurman.org, Charlize Central and as a co-web for Team Jolie. This layout was created by Christine of Pink Chaos with a few minor css tweaks from me. Thank you so much Christine! The content is mostly the same with some changes on the multimedia and the video section which will be updated once I get more videos. So please let me know if you have any comments such as browser issues. Feel free to comment in this post and I’ll take a look! You can also follow us in Twitter by clicking on the link below!
Thank you!

Finnish-owned label Lindex has released imagery from the second push for its spring 2013 season, featuring actress Penélope Cruz.
The first part of the campaign, which showed Cruz in casual and red-carpet settings, broke on April 24.
This latest campaign sees Cruz wearing her favourite items in a home environment.
The company says this part of the collection has a Latino inspiration, with neutral colours (khaki, black, grey, white) offset by pepper green and mandarin red. The patterns include animal and jungle prints, fringes and tie-dyes.
There are the usual staples of dresses, singlets and shorts. Lindex’s design manager, Nina Starck, gives the example of shorts, knitted top and a bikini underneath for a boho-chic look.
To emphasize a retro feel, Cruz can be seen in one image posing next to a turntable with an LP.
This latest part of the Lindex spring collection hits stores, online and offline, on May 6.
Cruz won an Academy Award for best supporting actress in the 2008 Woody Allen film, Vicky Cristina Barcelona. News of the Lindex spring campaign breaking first surfaced on April 15.
While a Swedish-originated brand, Lindex was acquired by the Finnish retailer Stockmann in 2007. It currently has around 400 stores, including Russia and the Middle East.

Oscar winner, Penelope Cruz, 38, and her younger sister Monica Cruz, 35, have teamed up to design a new diffusion collection for luxury lingerie company Agent Provocateur.
The line will be called L’Agent and is intended to retail at a more affordable price point than is typical of the London-based brand, averaging around $64 per item, according to the New York Daily News. The line is scheduled to launch for the Autumn/Winter 2013 season in department stores globally. The line will not, however, be found in Agent Provocateur’s stand alone stores where items run upwards of $300 a piece, reports Time. This is not the first time Monica and Penelope have collaborated, they previously worked together on collections for Mango and Samantha Thavasa.
At this point, Agent Provocateur has not released any images of the collection, so it is unclear how prominently either Cruz will be featured in the campaign.

Penelope Cruz is in talks to star in a film titled “Gucci” about the Italian family behind the legendary clothing brand, TheWrap said.
Directed by Jordan Scott, daughter of Ridley Scott, the film tells the story of the late Maurizio Gucci, grandson of the Gucci founder, as he becomes heir to the family empire.
Gucci was gunned down in 1995. His ex-wife, Patrizia Reggiani, was jailed for the killing in 1999. The project was first announced in 2006 with Ridley Scott set to direct from a script by Andrea Berloff. A number of other writers have since been involved in the project, which is set up at Scott Free. In 2009, Angelina Jolie was approached to play Reggiani, who was jailed for 29 years for allegedly ordering the killing of her ex-husband, when Ridley Scott was still attached to direct “Gucci.”
Reports of the film’s resurfacing came as Gucci makes a push to re-establish the brand as synonymous with Hollywood glamour, which it has been struggling to do since Tom Ford left the house in 2004. The company has become increasingly involved in the film world. Gucci has given more than $2 million to Martin Scorsese to help him restore old films, including Federico Fellini’s “La Dolce Vita” and Sergio Leone’s “Once Upon a Time in America.”
The label also funds film scholarships and supports a weekly film series at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art.
