A typically Spanish salt-of-the-earth character, in which many see a reflection of Sofia Loren. Cruz’s character in “Volver” is not without her touch of flamenco. In one of the main scenes in the film Raimunda sings a flamenco cover of Gardel’s tango “Volver“.
