New layout!

I’ve been working in the background to get everything updated, but wasn’t able to finish everything yet. To start, I added a new layout to both main site and gallery.
The gallery thumbnails was updated, and it’s a little bigger now, and also now you don’t need to register to see ANY picture, all albums are now open for guest visitors.

I’m still converting the site to WordPress, so for now you just can access the news archive and gallery, but please bare with me while I’m working, there’s a lot of work to be done. Thanks for your patience.

Please, let me know if you find any error on the layout.

Penelope Receives Hollywood Walk of Fame Honor!

On Friday April 1, 2011 — Penelope Cruz was all smiles as she received her much deserved star on the Hollywood Walf of Fame. She looked absolutely radiant. On hand to say a few words about her was Pe’s co-star Johnny Depp (Blow, Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides) and also in attendence was Pe’s amazing husband Mr. Javier Bardem, who looked very proud of his wife’s latest honor.

83rd Annual Academy Awards…

More than a month ago Penelope attended the 83rd Annual Academy Awards ceremony, looking stunningly beautiful post birth, on the arm of her husband Javier Bardem who was nominated for Best Actor for his role in Biutiful. Ultimately the top prize went to Colin Firth for his role in The King’s Speech (these two were my top choices). Pe & Javier Parents?

According to Yahoo! via a Spanish newspaper Penelope & Javier are parents! The name and gender have yet to be disclosed to the press. We hope this is true and await confirmation from a more concrete source i.e. People Magazine. But alas I will post what we have read…

Congratulations are in order for Javier Bardem and Penelope Cruz, who welcomed their first child together on Tuesday.

According to Spanish newspaper El Pais, the infant was born at Cedars Sinai Hospital in L.A.

Cruz, 36, first debuted her baby bump while shooting Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides in Puerto Rico last September — just two months after she secretly tied the knot with Bardem, her Vicky Cristina Barcelona costar.

“He’s a friend and the best actor in the world,” Cruz has said of Bardem, 41.

The newborn’s name and gender have yet to be announced. [Source]

If Pe’s baby was indeed born on this day then that is a double Congratulations to this beautiful couple. Javier was announced as a contender for the 83rd Annual Academy Awards for his role in Biutiful. His category is Performance by an actor in a leading role; Biutiful was also nominated in the category Best foreign language film (Mexico).

Disney Announces POTC: On Stranger Tides Trailer Date!

Admin Note: Long time no see wonderful Penelope fans. Sorry updates haven’t been made recently but in light of Pe’s condition there hasn’t been much to report. Until now that is.

Disney has announced that they will premiere the first trailer for Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides on Monday, December 13th. However, Disney is holding a contest that will allow a few lucky fans to see the trailer before anyone else as part of “Pirates Fans First!” event at AMC Downtown Disney 12 Theater and Disneyland Resort. The trailer will then go online worldwide at 1:00pm (PST).
