A Spanish TV has claimed that a source close to the couple, as well as an insider – who has been working with the actress in Madrid – have confirmed that Penélope is three months pregnant. The actress recently admitted that she is having the time of her life being a housewife and staying at home to look after Leonardo.

She had said: “I’m a housewife and it’s beautiful, the best thing in the world. I know how to cook and it’s important to me to make fresh food every day. I don’t do crazy diets, just the good Mediterranean food that I love because it’s important to eat well.”

Penélope also recently admitted that she “worries less” since becoming a mother as beforehand she “always loved” to be concerned about everything in her life. She explained: “For me, having my son means I worry less. I’ve always loved to worry – ever since I was a little girl people would tell me I worry too much. But these days I really have to pick my subjects to worry about because there are only so many hours in the day.”

On being the ambassador of Lancôme’s Trésor perfume:
“Absolutely! Since my teens, I am an absolute fan of this house. As a kid, I wanted all the brands products, but I could not buy them, of course. At 14-15 years, I asked my parents for perfume. I was in heaven. Since then, it grew with me. It is directly linked to memories, events, persons. It is part of my life.”

On her favorite designers:
“Karl Lagerfeld, John Galliano, Ralph Lauren … how to choose? Impossible for me to prefer one or the other. Just as I do not have a particular style. I love listening to my desires and I’m certainly not stuck on trends.”

On her ‘To Rome With Love’ director Woody Allen:
“This is the funniest man on the planet. With him, everything is wonderful, bright, offbeat. On the set, my little pleasure was to sit beside him and make him talk about his life, his hypochondria, everything and anything. I could listen for hours, because I laughed all the time.”

On if she plans on being one of those actresses who take their children on set all of the time:
“I do not know yet how I will organize. I do not even know where I live soon! Our city is heart of Madrid, and we have just as often as possible. But we try to put elsewhere. Why not New York? I love it! When I walk through its streets, I feel like an eternal student.”

Actress Penélope Cruz says being a housewife is the best thing in the world. The 38-year-old “Bandidas” star, who has been staying at home since giving birth to 17-month-old son Leonardo with husband Javier Bardem, said she enjoys not having a job to go to because it means she can concentrate on her cooking, reported Femalefirst.

“I’m a housewife and it’s beautiful, the best thing in the world. I know how to cook and it’s important to me to make fresh food every day. I don’t do crazy diets, just the good Mediterranean food that I love because it’s important to eat well,” she said.

The Hollywood couple has houses in America as well as their native Spain and Cruz also said she is very good with a mop and duster.

“I’m good at cleaning too. I learnt that when I made the film ‘Volver’. My character was always cleaning the house, so when I started preparing for the role I would go to my mother’s house and to my sister’s house, and they were like, ‘I think she has a fever, because I don’t know why else she has come to clean my house today’.”
