Here’s Penélope arriving at the 82nd Annual Academy Awards. She presented the first award for the night, Best Supporting Actor, and I can’t wait to see more of her throughout the night.

Tonight, prior to the airing of the Academy Awards, on E! where you can watch the red carpet extravaganza and catch sneak-peeks or glimpses of your favorite Hollywood stars!

Well one of the noted names in fashion – Jay Manuel counted down the 5 Best Dressed ladies of the decade and Ms. Cruz’s 2007 exquisite gown was named with the No. 1 spot!

I saw the new promo for this just a couple of days ago and guess what… it includes Penélope!

She (and other 2010 Academy Award Nominated stars and directors will be shown) will be interviewed by 2002 Best Actress winner, Halle Berry.

So make sure you tune in at 10 p. EST on ABC for Oprah Winfrey’s Oscar Special.

Cruz, Penn and Winslet to present at Oscars

Last year’s three living acting Oscar winners — Sean Penn, Kate Winslet and Penelope Cruz — have all booked return visits to the 82nd Annual Academy Awards, where they will appear as presenters.

Cruz, who took home the supporting actress Oscar last year for “Vicky Cristina Barcelona,” has an added reason to show up since she’s nominated this year in the same category for playing the seductive mistress in “Nine.”

Penn earned the best actor Oscar last year for “Milk,” while Winslet was crowned best actress for “The Reader.”

Last year’s fourth acting trophy went to Heath Ledger posthumously for his performance as The Joker in “The Dark Knight.”

The Oscars will be broadcast live by ABC from the Kodak Theater in Hollywood on March 7.
